Permanent Immigration Services

Express Entry

Express Entry is an online system that we use to manage immigration to Canada. The system is a way to connect you to a job and a place to live in Canada without going through a long, complicated immigration process. It’s designed to make immigration quick and easy for you.

You can apply for an express entry visa to Canada. We will then match you to a job that best fits your skills and experience and that is available in your area.

Express Entry consists of the following 03 categories

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

Except Quebec and Nunavit, Canada has signed up bilateral agreements with other provinces and territories allowing them to nominate individuals for Permanent Residence based on their nominee assessments on the ability to contribute to economic growth positively.

In other words, the provincial nominee programs work with the federal government to nominate candidates to the pool. This means that candidates nominated through the provincial nominee programs are considered for the express entry program. Such programs allow you to apply for immigration to Canada on the basis of your job offer or employer sponsorship without having to live in Canada. Each province and territory in Canada has their own provincial nominee program, meaning that in theory you can live and work in any province or territory and still be able to apply for immigration through the provincial nominee program.

However, since the express entry pool is limited, it is often easier to immigrate through the provincial nominee program than it is to immigrate without it. Provinces and territories can nominate candidates for the express entry pool. This helps them to attract and retain immigrants who will contribute to the Canadian economy. There are over 400,000 immigrants in Canada with provincial nominee programs. This makes it easier for provinces and territories to attract the immigrants that will help to grow the economy and meet the needs of the labor market.

While the province is responsible for the candidates based on their education and skill levels, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is responsible for the following in relation to base nominations:

PNP works for workers those who have ● The skills, education and experience related to work that can contribute to the economy of the specific province or territory ● Has the intention and ability to live in that province or territory ● Who want to become a permanent resident of Canada
Some provinces or territories may target a certain group of candidates such as ;

● students

● business people

● skilled workers

● semi-skilled workers

Understanding the Express Entry Process

On line, there are 02 ways you can apply;

You can contact the province or territory of interest and apply for a nomination under an Express Entry Stream.

If the province or territory agrees to nominate you, you can then create a profile under express entry and show you have been nominated. If you already have a profile, you can update the same with the nomination.

Or

You can create an express entry profile and indicate the provinces and territories you are interested in. If a province or territory sends you a “notification of interest”, you can contact them directly You apply to their express entry stream and if you are nominated, the province or territory will give the offer to accept electronically.

Please adhere to the timelines given by the IRCC always.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

This is a Permanent Resident category for applicants who are already in Canada, have worked, and gained experience in the relevant National Occupational Classification (NOC).  This program is mainly for international students who have completed their academic education, obtained a post-graduate work permit, and have worked in the relevant field of experience.  This is also the pathway to Permanent Residence for foreign workers who have gained the number of years of experience that is needed under the program. Canadian Experience Class may be considered the fastest option for achieving permanent residence in Canada.

To become eligible for the above category, you must meet the following minimum requirements.

Applicants must meet the required language levels required for the job category.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before your application.  You can meet this requirement in a few different ways:

– the equal amount in part-time work: Ex 15. hours/week for 24 month’s == 1 year full time [1,560 hour’s]

Business Investor Visa

If you want to relocate to Canada as a foreign investor or entrepreneur, buying an established business in Canada is the best way and you can become eligible under the Entrepreneur Work Permit Program.

Finding a good business with growth potential for your immigration journey can be a complicated process. You will have to carefully review and select a business that best fits your skills, previous experience, and financial budget. In addition, the business you plan to buy should meet the requirements set by the Canadian immigration authorities.
You have to focus on Businesses that IRCC recommends

If you plan to move to Canada as a business owner-operator, you must demonstrate to Canadian immigration authorities that your business activities in Canada will bring a “significant economic benefit” to Canada. You can demonstrate “significant economic benefit” in several ways, and these will include

Option 1: buying a business in a key economic industry or sector;

Option 2: buying a business that is already engaged in a “significant benefit” activity

Option 3: investing a considerable amount of money into a business that can create employment opportunities for Canadians.
